Our version of a hot cloth cleanser with a twist, the Volcanic Mud Cleanser & Masque is a gentle, pH-balanced glycolic acid cleanser which can also be used as a deep pore cleansing face masque, recommended for all skin types except sensitive.
For deep pore cleansing and gentle, daily exfoliation, the Volcanic Mud Cleanser contains fuller’s earth, glycolic acid, aloe vera and a blend of natural oils which lift away impurities, dead skin cells and excess oil gently but effectively. It is ideal for people who like a cleanser that is removed with a warm flannel. Volcanic Mud Cleanser has a velvety texture that leaves skin feeling ultra clean but never dry or tight.
Use as a daily cleanser twice a day or a deep, pore cleansing masque 2-3 times a week.
How Does It Work?
This is our version of an exfoliating cleanser, rather than using an abrasive cloth to remove dead skin, the glycolic acid in this cleanser/masque helps to gently loosen the dead skin, while the avocado oil in this product makes it an excellent treatment for dry, dull, dehydrated and ageing skin. Avocado oil is highly penetrating and contains essential fatty acids, proteins, minerals and vitamin E and so it's also excellent for spotty skin types. The oil also aids skin regeneration and is highly nutritious. The fuller’s earth helps to draw out impurities leaving the skin clean and refreshed, whilst extracts of chamomile help soothe inflammation and redness.
How To Use
To use as a cleanser, massage one pump onto dry skin over face and neck, apply a little water to gently lather. Rinse with tepid water or remove with a flannel, rinse your flannel in hand hot water, wring out and place over the face until the flannel is cool, remove the cleanser.
Can be used morning and night. To use as a deep cleansing masque, apply a thin amount to clean, dry skin and leave for 5 minutes, can be used as a masque 2-3 times a week.
This product is excellent as part of a 2 step cleansing program. Although this cleanser does remove make-up, if you do wear thick foundation we recommend removing first with our First Cleanse Oil and using the Volcanic Mud Cleanser as your second cleanser and morning cleanse. As this cleanser contains acids, it cannot be used to cleanse your skin before using our chemical peels.
FAQ
Can it be rinsed off? It takes a little longer to fully remove while rinsing, we have found that removing with a face flannel/cloth gives the best results when removing this cleanser. If you prefer to rinse, follow with a toner to be sure that all traces of cleanser have been removed.

All delivery times are taken from the day of dispatch. We always email tracking and it's important to check this daily until your order has been received, delivery workers don't always put an attempted delivery note through the door, if the package is then not collected within a week it is returned to sender. If you have not received a tracking link, please email us.
Please note that to cancel your order, you must cancel it before it reaches the 'Completed' status.
On receipt of your order please check the packaging and contents carefully. If any of your products are damaged or missing please specify this on the delivery note when you sign for the goods. Please keep any boxes that the products are supplied in for two weeks following delivery in case you need to return the product.
