Skincare For Oily Skin And Surface Redness
Here are the products I tend to recommend for rosacea but rosacea is a tricky condition and not everyone can tolerate our products. If you've reacted to a lot of products in the past, I'd recommend you visit a skin consultant/aesthetician.
Cleansers - |
We have combined nature’s best, organic cleansing oils and infused them with organic chamomile, lavender and rosemary oil, for a truly soothing and therapeutic experience.
Perfect for all skin types, including oily skin, use this cleanser as your first cleanse to remove make-up, in the evening we always recommend double cleansing, you can use this cleanser twice if you prefer, it’s not essential that you use a separate, second cleanser.
Purifying Gel Cleanser is a salicylic acid cleanser which is a deep cleansing, non foaming, oil-free face wash, it thoroughly removes excess oil and surface impurities without drying out the skin. The glycolic acid, salicylic acid and natural enzymes help to exfoliate the skin, helping to remove dead skin cells.
Acid Toners - |
This delicately scented toner is infused with botanical extracts and exfoliating aha's which help to tone and firm, tighten the pores and smooth the appearance of the skin, to give it a finer, softer texture.
Serums - |
Due to its oil-free texture it isn't rich like most anti-ageing products, but acts like a super sponge and retains water within the skin, locking in the moisture that your skin usually loses. As we become older our skin’s ability to retain moisture weakens, as a result our skin becomes dry and dehydrated.
Moisturisers - |
If you suffer with oily, spotty skin, choosing a moisturiser can often be a daunting task. This light moisturiser packed with calming and soothing botanical ingredients is perfect for problem skin, even oily skin needs to be moisturised, keeping your skin hydrated will help the skin rejuvenate itself.
Chemical Exfoliators - |
Lactic Acid is used to help rejuvenate the skin by encouraging the shedding of old surface skin cells (exfoliation). It can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation, & decreases enlarged pores. Lactic acid is a great choice for first-time peel users or for those with sensitive skin.
Salicylic acid is oil soluble, which means that when applied it works within the pore, with regular use the dirt, dead skin, bacteria and oil causing the blockage will reduce, the pore will reduce in size and the oil that was once blocked will be able to flow through the pore, this is important as our skin's natural oil (sebum) keeps our skin nourished, healthy and supple. Clean pores lead to clearer looking skin.
